Nicotinic Acid
Use
White crystal or crystalline powder, odorless or slightly odorous, slightly acidic in taste. Melting point 234-237°C. It is easily soluble in hot water, hot ethanol, alkaline water, propylene glycol and chloroform, slightly soluble in water and ethanol, 1.6g can be dissolved in 100 mL of water at room temperature, and insoluble in ether and ester solvents.
